Today's selection, as you can see, is rather simple. I wanted this awesome scarf to be center stage, so I went with the grey dress I got over spring break as a springier alternative to plain black. The lace sleeves are a nice detail, as is the bow-back. And the best part: pockets! I love pockets! Why don't all dresses have them??
Until lately, I noticed I didn't have much yellow in my closet (90% of it is black and blue; my clothes are bruising my closet, hehe), so I picked up these wedges. They seemed to bring a little more liveliness to the ensemble than just black sandals. A ton of my latest dresses and skirts have yellow elements, so expect a lot of combos involving these cuties to come.
Now, the star of the day! This scarf surprised me when I took it home, because it was hung up twisted up all tight hanging on the rack, so when I unraveled it, it blew up like one of those sea creature toys you drop in water. It looked like my head was being slowly devoured when I tied it around my neck, so I tried it belt-style and it looks so much better!
These earrings came in a pastel rainbow six-pack which will definitely serve me well over the spring. Pretty much any one of them would have worked today, but I went with some fun lavender!
