April 17, 2013: Pretty in Pink!

Most girls have days when they just need some pink in their lives (no, there shall be no Mean Girls references in this house), and today was mine! With all of my intern clothes just chilling in my closet, I figured it would be a waste to leave them solely on office duty and grabbed this fun button-down. Being from the racks of Ann Taylor, this is clearly far outside of my SWS bracket, but a basic tailored blouse is a major working girl requirement,so it's okay. Plus it was on sale! It's pretty much one of the happiest colors imaginable, and fits as perfectly as you'd expect from a higher-end boutique.

For simultaneously maintaining the girly charm while throwing in a little edge, I tucked my blouse into this super-crazy-ruffled skirt. That's right, not just one layer of ruffles would suffice today; we get THREE! The belt's bow buckle makes it cute, while the studs make it ferocious.

I'm beyond excited to finally debut these babies! While trolling eBay like I do periodically, I stumbled across a listing for insanely cheap tattoo tights. They are basically plain pantyhose printed to give you faux leg tats! Of course, I immediately ordered four pairs. Along with these irresistible heart trails, I got the zodiac constellations, flowering vines, and a rosary with ankle wings. They'll show up here eventually, promise!

Finish things up with these cutout oxfords. They're lighter than air and provide a nice toe-breeze, so no stuffiness! Earrings are just some swirly twirly gumdrops hoops.
