April 4, 2013: Over the Rainbow!

Wheee! Colors! Aren't you 20% more cheerful just looking at the photo? This dress jumped out and smacked me in the eyeballs the second I walked by it at Marshall's, and I dare you to find something that yells "welcome back, spring!" any louder! I'm ready to take my leading role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream...dress.

Going full Dorothy today with my own ruby slippers. Although I bet Miss Gale would have an easier time easing on down the road in these than her glitter heels. These are honestly the comfiest flats I own, and  they come in enough colors to match any of the dress' bright hues, along with neutral shades. Some black brings things down to earth a bit, with the bangles serving as extra matching stripes.

Topping it all off with some sparkle to match the silver linings running through the stripes. My little ring buddy helps keep me company, too! Really, what's a rainbow without a birdy to fly over it?

Will certainly have to do a costume change before going to the Evil Dead midnight release this evening...feels a bit sacrilege to rainbow it up in the presence of one of the greatest horror flicks ever.
