Bonjour, mon readers! Today we shall take a stylistic trip to the City of Lights-or at least to the typical first outfit that comes to mind when you hear "France." All that's missing is a jaunty beret (why is that the only adjective used to describe berets?), which make my head look like a muffin, so not this time!
This ultra-soft top is a wonderful item from H&M's style basics section. As you can see, the stripes are a light off-white instead of stark white, which doubles with the comfy cowl neck to make it more vintage Parisian lady and less Parisian...mime.
I worked in a color pop with a fun tangerine belt! All of my poor belts have been chopped down to half their original sizes, since they almost never get utilized for their intended purpose of pants-holding-up, just waist-cinching.
To keep up with the retro look, I shelved the skinny jeans in favor of these flared leg ones. Sometimes it's nice to actually have blood flowing to your legs, a thing which jeggings do not facilitate well, as we females know. Add in another burst of color with red flats; the wrapped fabric coordinates with the top's draping style!
Since we are taking inspiration from the city of amour, I finished up with some mixed metal heart earrings. These really can work with virtually any outfit, since in three tiny charms you've got silver, gold, black and sparklies! Plus, they're adorably sweet!

In one of last weekend's posts I showed off the new Sephora "Feathers" nail polishes I had bought that day. Well, take a lookie at the finished product! The York color went over a basic orange-coral polish, and it looks fab!
