April 12, 2013: Thor's Day!

Heh heh...get it?...Thor, like the god of lightning?...which sounds like Thursday?...ahhh, I crack me up.

And it's Friday.

(True story, though, that IS the origin of why we call it Thursday. Yup.)

Anyway, the forecast called for some stormy weather and a dip back down into cooler temperatures today, so I planned accordingly, both for warmth and thematically! While I already own several varieties of LBD like a good little fashionista (long-sleeve knit, sleeveless floaty, etc.), this one is my Holy Grail of LBDness. The softness, the T-shirt sleeves, the flared skirt, the  not-too-short not-too-long length...everything about it is sheer perfection. All glory be to the utopia that is Target for gracing me with its existence!

I know that galaxy everything is burning up Pinterest and Tublr and the like, but I liked these lightning tights even more than the available celestial ones. Along with these, I bought some comic book-style "Pow!" "Biff!" "Thwack!" ones as well, for which I have an awesome outfit that's unfortunately a bit too wintery. Will rework eventually for warmer weather as well. And here we have the return of the combat boots; told you they still work hard for me in springtime!

Keeping the lightning yellow theme rolling with a bright belt and basic studs. No need to take any more attention away from the main attraction than necessary!
