April 3, 2013: Sing With a Swing!

Business Communications class today was the "tell us all about yourself" day, so I thought it appropriate to let everyone know firsthand my one true music love: Michael Bublé! As much as I never cared for Frank Sinatra, the new Ol' Blue-Eyes captured my ears and heart from the moment I heard "Feelin' Good." I've already seen him in concert twice, and will absolutely go again when the next tour rolls around! Today's shirt came from his Crazy Love Tour in '11. I love the funky typography so much more than just a generic face-and-name top.

Along with living in boots, I worship at the altar of Chuck Taylor. Although I know it goes against the general Converse philosophy of "the more beat-up, the better," I go to ridiculous lengths to keep my classic blacks as mint as possible. And yes, they aren't cheap, and I'm doing an awful job of sticking with the CHEAP part of the blog the last two days; bear with me, it gets there!

Going along with the soul train (wrong era, heh), I topped it off with my fedora (I do love me some hats) and treble clef earrings. For anyone interested, they were crafted by pyrabluestudios on eBay, and there's a lot more fab low-cost jewelry where these came from! (Pay no attention the the hair tie on the wrist)

And of course, you can't properly get your Rat Pack swagger on without some dapper neckwear. Even before coming the rabid Doctor Who fan I am today, I always had a soft spot for bow ties-regular ones, too.
