April 2, 2013: Yee-hah!

Howdy! Today's outfit makes it feel like a bit of a cowgirl kinda day. This will be a slight deviation from my $25-and-under motto, but when it comes to basic jeans, you know that skimping is not the answer.

Also in today's post, introducing two of my feet's best friends; my trusty brown lace-up boots! These guys will be showing up a lot, along with my black combats, who will make an appearance by week's end. For something that gets worn just as often as blue jeans, it's worth the extra dough.

 

 Ultra-comfy shirt, and the nicest part is that it comes installed with the front tie, instead of trying to wrangle the bottom half of a regular button-down into a decent knot, which always ends up looking strange. Check out the sweet  quasi-see-thru lace on the back!

 

Added in some wing bling to go with the look; anyone who knows me will know that my love of anything wing or feather themed is uncontrollable. I adore picking up jewelry at Body Central, since everything from gigantic necklaces to cards of nine earrings for $3.90! These came with two others, little circles that kind of look like lotus root cross-sections and big ol' hoops with etchings all around.

And yes, I've got my Katniss Everdeen spirit wear on as well.

Letting my geek flag fly times two today for accessories. Applejack is best pony.
