Today was the first day of my spring class quarter, so seemed like an ideal time to kick off my blog, made double by the unexpectedly fantastic weather today. Groundhog-dude, looks like you're finally getting around to a correct forecast for us Pennsylvania folks!
With a few exceptions, my goal for this blog is to share outfits composed entirely of items for under $25. This will run up closer to $30 or occasionally more for shoes in certain instances, though I do contain myself in that respect as well. If I happen to sport footwear with an abnormally high price tag for me, nine times out of eight it was provided by la madre (single child syndrome, guilt!)
Anyhoo, today's nifty ensemble was inspired by one of my favorite paint-monkeys, Mr. Monet. Couldn't pass up this gorgeous skirt when I saw it; I'm sure if ol' Claude had been a Claudia, he would have whipped this up for him-her-self.

Quite the match, no? |
Having a bit of an Elvis moment today, with some blue...almost suede shoes. Was torn between black-tights-blue-shoes and blue-tights-black-shoes, but this seemed less overbearing; let the lovely flower blots do the attention commandeering!
Expanding the skirt's blobblets into actual flowers for my little necklace. Note the unintentionally coordinating post-Easter mani!
