If seeing this getup gives you a touch of deja-vu, there's no mistake; it's straight out of my PayHalf and Sassy Pickins haul from this weekend! (Check it out if you missed out, and get a sneak peek at upcoming outfits) Like I said, I've had this pair of lovely and soft lace shorts from Marshalls for a while, but with no clear ideas of what to pair with them. This top caught my attention, and soon it was coming home with me to meet its new BFF.
While it may look basic, it's secretly got a wild side; check out that SexyBack! that's right, don't tell anyone, but Mr. Timberlake really got inspired for his hit song by my wardrobe. Shocking, huh? To keep things under wraps, I added in this coordinating bralette I grabbed from Charlotte Russe's sale rack; three bucks! Amahzing!
Moving down, we see my impulsively purchased sandals that joined the party too. I didn't notice until I got home, but while the hanger said they were a size nine, these actually go to 11. Strangely, they still fit to a T! Doesn't the fabric remind you of those shirts that were all the rage ten years or so ago that was teensy until you stretched them out to wear? I totally rocked on of those in my fourth grade school picture.
For accessories, I threw on some turquoise to pick up the blue flowers on the shoes. This chill eagle was another awesomely cheap Forever 21 find. I was on a strange turquoise kick that online shopping spree-two necklaces and a pair of earrings, to be exact. The bracelet was part of my grandmom's annual grandkid goodie bags on Christmas Day.
