If there's one thing that will never be out of date, it's a happy floral dress, and this one happens to be one of my favorites (trust me, I've got a LOT). The fact that it has the collar, fabric-covered buttons and little sleeves makes it feel so simultaneously cute and classy, a bit dressier than strapless or spaghetti straps. Also, the blossoms match either my pink or red lip colors depending on what I'm in the mood for-the former, today, clearly-so double the choices!
The dress came with a simple thin brown belt, but I felt like trading it for one with a bit more oomph. At least I opted for the one without the dinner-plate-sized buckle like a true cowpoke might sport (although on second thought...it's still kinda big). As an unexpected bonus, my pink mani also goes with the pink petals, helping make things a bit softer after all the rootin' tootin' pieces.
Keep up the cowgirl chic with some rustic brown and gold bead accents. These earrings are larger that I'm used to, but the open loops make them seem less oversized. The bracelet reminds me of something a gal might have picked up from a trader, or a woven blanket!
